Russell the Winter Dusk Screecher

This is a member of the original species I created a while ago, call the Dusk Screechers. You can find some info on them here:inkdragon13.deviantart.com/art…  This lovely male's name is Russell, and he is a screecher that lives far north, in forests where winters are long and harsh on a regular basis. He is less social than the average dusk screecher, and tends to be aggressive towards individuals that he doesn't know. Around the individuals he trusts, he is quite gentle. 

Russell was designed and is owned by Anton, a friend of mine. He had some bad things happen recently, and offering to make him a dusk screecher was my way of helping him feel a little better. I had some difficulty drawing this, but it was worth it.
